Sport 135/160 or VVC I would say ...
Chuck away complete bottom end and replace with something appropriate.
The bottom end of my old engine is available free of charge, but needs piston rings (I would suggest new set of pistons/liners for peace of mind).
Hopefully damage to head is limited to a couple of bent valves.

He's in Scotland but frequents SELOC as opposed to SE. Nice looking car. That's a nasty thing to happen to anyone.
