Scottish Elises

Already have the improved gear linkage and quick shift kit fitted to the car, and will be looking to fit the EP cables sometime in the new year. What I really fancy though is for the gear lever to be much taller (think koenigsegg) while still keeping the short throw. Have had a good look on the web to no avail for one, or even an extension for the quick shift kit but can't find anything suitable. Any suggestions?

Will the longer lever not negate the benefits of the short shift?

Exactly like that one in the VX. I thought that the short throw related to lower section of the gear shift, not the upper section, and therefore extending the upper section to have it sit closer to the steering wheel would not negate the shorter throw?

Worth trying to work out the leverages. Not actually that much physical space to get longer levers in the gubbins at the lever end to pull the cables more (giving the shorter throw) so most short throw levers I have seen are also slightly shorter to magnify the effect.

I'd imagine extending like the Koenigseggnnegnegneg would see you with a lever throw like a Mk1 Magic Wand Mini with shagged link bushes, even with the short shift gubbins installed.
