Busted up Elise R.

Hi Guys,

I'm about to let my beloved 2007 Chrome Orange Elise R go. The head gasket has gone, been skimmed several times and won't hold compression apparently. Needs a lot of interior and exterior TLC as well as a new engine. It has sat on my drive for the last 18 months whilst I try and decide what to do....

So my question is, what value do you think a broken, in need of new engine and a tonne of TLC 2007 Elise R has?

Thanks :)

Gary.

Have you thought about speaking to Craig at MMC about a rebuild? Easier to sell a well fettled car if you've got the time and money to put it back on the road, got to be worth a phone call to get options.

Ill grab some.

Got two firm offers of £10K on table, dealers I think. They understand the damage and don't seem to care. One is desperate to put a deposit on it...

I've just sent you a PM :)

I'd be interested, looking for an Elise R as a project car

Wow, that's strong money as the engine is not a cheap replacement on the 111R, used units cost thousands? also needing paint and an interior? overall project costs could outweigh the cost of one needing nothing? That said values are on the rise, 2-3 years ago they could be had at circa £13k all day but now seem to be £17k and up  I love the 111R such a fun car, feels a bit better put together than my old S1 was  Good luck and I hope you get a nice hassle free sale :thumbsup
