Are the inserts for the window channels in an S1 something to get from Lotus or has anyone found a generic (read cheaper) part option?

Not the edging strip, the channels the window actually runs in. Apparently the magic word is 'felt'.

Will check to see what the cost is from Lotus.

Ah I see! In that case I am of no use.... (was going to recommend elise-shop for the rubbers)

I am sure Louise will have some old felt dress she would not mind having shortened.

I just threw a door out with the channels intact. You can order it by the meter on eBay too.

Can't be that different to other car window channel rubbers.
