Got the Honda Elise mapped on Friday (see testimonials).
Here's what the bad boy is producing now at the wheels.
Standard non-JDM Vtec. Looking forward to driving it soon (thanks to Craig Moncrief Cars

Nice one, around 200bhp at the flywheel then?
That'll be a lot of fun.

Pretty sure the mainline Dyno at HQ is at the wheels hence my rough conversion to flywheel hp.
Also pretty sure it is a conservative Dyno too. So good power and torque.

Is there a general conversion (for Elises) when calculating power & torque at wheels versus flywheel?
I have a power graph for my S2 K series from F1 Automotive Bolton and, reading their site, their interia dyno calculates at the flywheel and mine is 162bhp and 141lbft.

Approx 20% to allow for transmission losses etc gives a pretty accurate figure usually.

That's perhaps a little high for a modern FWD (but in the middle) gearbox.. The VX220 gearbox (GM, triple shaft 5-speed) seems to indicate about 15% transmission loss is about right, although its not quite a linear relationship throughout the graph!

I like the sound of 15% better

15% is what I used to get the approx 200bhp at the fly.

Is that the final map??? Or just to get you started????
WankR made 223bhp and didn't have a dip in the midrange. Also, my vtec came in at 4Krpm
