Stop laughing!
Has anyone tried to fit an S2 Exige spoiler on to an Elise.
I want to use my Elise to do some continental touring and a spoiler will be handy to hold boo-bag in place as a byproduct?
The post 2010 GT3 type might be handy but it stops you getting luggage in and out of the boot as easy.
I also wonder if an Elise can be fitted with a better boot stay, like the Exige?
Humour me please!

There was a chap with a Toyota S2 elise in Glasgow about 6 years ago who had Murrays fit an exige spoiler to his car. Not convinced it was the best looking thing I have seen. I have a luggage rack for my S1 which works a treat. Mr Smee has a roof box type thing for his S1 luggage rack which looks neat. I am sure you can get S2 luggage racks too.

There is a green Honda S2 on pistonheads just now with a exige spoiler fitted.

Does that not stop the engine cover opening? I presume it would be the same problem on an S1, as in would the S1 Exige spoiler fitted to an S1 Elise stop the engine cover opening?

The S2 exige spoiler fits to the engine cover.

There are luggage rack products that might be more appropriate if you're actually trying to carry luggage.
like this

From my own personal experience, if you forget the excuses about luggage capacity, and just openly admit to wanting to put a spoiler on an Elise because you think it looks cool, I promise the p*ss-taking dies down after only 4, maybe 5 years.

You won't be able to though - it's an Elise with an Exige spoiler - unsaleable.

I like the newer Exige spoiler on the Elise. The gt4 type spoiler. It attaches to the body and doesn't get in the way of opening the engine cover.
