Exhaust pops on 111R?

Guys is there any way to get the exhaust on my 111R to pop? It's the one thing I feel is missing. Possibly a sports cat? Not sure a different silencer would do it?

Removing the cat pipe completely and suspending the after cat lamda sensor out of the gasflow (if you have one) so the MIL does not keep coming on works a treat (allegedly officer). you can use either a decat pipe or a cat pipe where the car has died and been expelled at some point in the past.....I have one such pipe you can try out if you want to but I will need it back as I prefer to do KH days without the Cat fitted....This is of course the Pikey (Aberdeen) option.

The proper way to do it is with a 2ubular setup....

Is a decat an easy job to swap over? I'd be interested to hear what yours sounds like with it on. If I was to go with the 2ubular route would I need a full system or just their silencer?

I've just got the back box, 8x22' pops and bangs plenty for me! Cars at Craig's swing by and get him to start it up for you and have a listen. It has a cat installed. PM me and I'll text him if you plan on having s listen!

My car is also at Craigs and will be there until Friday lunch time. It now has fitted a 2ubular 8x22 re-packable back box with a 2ubular sport cat. This makes some nice pops and bangs on overrun. Feel free to have a look/listen if you are in the area.

Swapping out the cat is relatively simple once you have done it the first time. First time can be a bit of a bu--er due to usual Lotus issues relating to rust, seized nuts, skint knuckles etc. First time I did it, it took me nearly 5 hours in total. Last time it was down to 90mins. Now should be even quicker as Craig has fitted rear eliminator kit...

Can back up Martins exhaust sounds pretty good. It convinced me to go down the 2bular route. Just wondering if you guys know of anyone with the 6" silencer? Heard this is "the best sounding exhuast for a NA toyota," but does say it might breach track day noise limits. Any thoughts?

I had the 6 inch 2bular fitted to my Exige S (just recently sold the exhaust tho)

Fair to say it was pretty loud and you would need to be fairly hardcore to drive with it daily. It certainly added to the "event" for occasional use tho. I expect KH would be the only track you would get on without being chucked off :)
