More Power Please

Hi all
MMC done a very bad thing last week. My S2 rover powered elise was in getting some repairs to the roof and I was given a 111R as a courtsy car.
This is my problem, the 111R made my car feel like Fiat 500 in the power stakes. Is there any recomendations of ecconomical ways of getting similar outputs to that of the toyota engine or is an engine transpant the best option.
Also does anyone know of a 6 speed gearbox kit for the K16 engine setup?

Well it was all well and good apart from the fact that things went well for the first day, came out the next morning to find a leaking radiator hose had dumped all the water in my drive but thats a different story.

Or PTP or Turbo Technics.
Or if you go on selcoc and ask them, they'll reply with "
www.carlimits.com" in their usual wanky way.

Maybe they do but it's not the answer to the question.

Very true, and if he just wants more power then fair enough. But if he thinks he wants more power to go faster then its a very valid point.
Both more power and driver training could make you 2 seconds a lap quicker round knockhill, but one is a lot more reliable than the other and one stays with you for life.
ANYWAY, i wasnt going to reply with that wanky answer, i was just saying that in some circumstances they make a very good point.

What?!!?
I've been moaning at MMC every time my car is in that I should be given an *equivalent* car as a courtesy car and I still get that bloody Suzuki Swift! My car's in again this Friday/Saturday. I'm giving Bill a call first thing tomorrow morning and demanding a 111R as a courtesy car!
This'll be getting added to the list of complaints . . . they're bloody lying to me again! Grrrr!
Rich, did they just give you this, or did you demand it? Who sorted out the courtesy car for you?

thats why i bought the 111r over the 111s. The second cam kick just made it feel a good bit quicker, despite the fact in normal driving there is very little in it.
Still next purchase will be lighter with more poke
