Scottish Elises

Gave the car a good wash, fired it up to put in back in the garage and no instruments! Lights out on the instrument cluster, rev and speedo needles occasionally waggling around randomly. Flashed back on and off for a bit, then finally revived after a 10 min drive to warm it up.

Not reassuring with SLS coming up next weekend! I'm guessing water got in some connection, then it revived when it dried out. Worrying though and odd as the car's been out in some horrendous rain in the past with no issue.

Any ideas, wiring to check out/protect if it recurs?

There was a service update for the instrument panel released in 03/14 to fix this blanking out. My 2011 car just had the reflash as part of its sales prep before I collected it.

I would've thought your 2015 car would already have it but it's possible the clock set might datecfrom before the update?
