Fitting standard seat belts to S2

Post by pauln » Thu Jun 01, 2017 12:41 pm

Hello there,

Have had a quick scan but can't find any info on how to refit a set of standard seat belts to an S2.

Car currently has 4 points fitted but finding them a right pain in the arse for everyday use.

Does anybody have any links or info to point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Paul

Paul

Try this, i should have given you a list of resources, but try this;

removing skin on hands is normal, can be a footery job when you have spade hands!

Nice to hear she is being used everyday :)

I had both the harness and inertia reel belts on my old car at once. Harness on the road isn't safe as you can't peer round corners or adjust heating or radio without undoing the shoulder straps..

Standard belts now fitted, most awkward part was getting the damn passenger seat out!

Much more convenient for frequent use, or for adjusting the radio ;)
