S1 Cobra key fob.

Post by Kinger » Fri Aug 04, 2017 10:19 am

I changed the battery in my key fob and now it won’t arm or disarm the system. The Red light lights when the button is pressed but nothing happens in the car. Is there a re-setting procedure ?, if so can anyone describe it.

Cheers

Assuming your alarm system is the same original Cobra one as in my S1 then you can get the car's alarm system to 'reteach' any new handsets if you have the cobra touch key that the car came with to get the system ready to code other handsets.

If you have this touch key might be easier to talk through the steps if you want to give me a call......
