management light
management light
Hi folks,
Looking for a bit of advice.
Work away and just back, went to fire up the car and the battery was very low but she did fire but the mil is on.
Wife was running and said last time she was out in it everything was fine (about a month ago, but warming it up in the garage to keep her turned over).
Any ideas?
Also, having put a new radiator in her just after I bought her, is there any good independents that won't charge the earth. I'm use to paying high servicing and maintenance but £1300 to supply and fit a radiator!
Believe that there is a fella Hillington ?
I'm in East Ayrshire.
Cheers for any advice...... especially if there is a reset to see if it was potentially the battery being low caused it, if it comes back into know to get it checked out fully.
Oops, should have said it's a 2010 1.6

Re: management light
Assume you haven't plugged in an OBD reader to see what codes are associated with the light? I'm in tonight if you want to do that as a start, can't promise anything though.
There's a good indie in Edinburgh, CMC. KennyBrown in Hillington and I've a guy in Ayr I use, not for the elise so far, but would.
Who fitted the radiator?

Re: management light
Ken Brown in Hillington is the man for the job. He has done quite a bit to my car to get it back to full health. Great attention to detail, job done properly and a pretty decent cost too.

That's a great offer Woody, thanks, but it's looking as though the problem has cleared.woody wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:20 amAssume you haven't plugged in an OBD reader to see what codes are associated with the light? I'm in tonight if you want to do that as a start, can't promise anything though.

With the idle much better after I left it for a bit in took her a small run at low revs and when I switched off and then started her again the mil didn't come back on. The lights remaining off..... so fingers crossed.
Will need to get myself along to a meet at some point

Re: management light
Radiator was supplied and fitted by Murray Motors, a bit on the expensive side in my opinion.woody wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:20 amAssume you haven't plugged in an OBD reader to see what codes are associated with the light?
