Falkland in Glenrothes or Dan (Jude) in Newcastle are the 2 most obvious I think.

Maybe it would also be useful if I added that I got pretty much the same set of work done by him last year (cambelt service plus a few other bits and pieces, as well as a general checkup as I'd just bought the car), and it was about £600. And he taxi'd me to and from the train station which was rather helpful of him (in an awesomely old dirty mondeo, I was v impressed). Thoroughly nice bloke.

mmmmmmmmm you read it wrongly. Twas a bit subtle.
If you want a £30K service (that is in pundies, not miles), then take it to MMC.
If you want a 30K miles service, then try Dan, though he has now become so popular, that you will probably not be able to get a booking, and he has doubled his prices.....

All my experiences with Falkland have been top quality. Thats not to encourage you not to go anywhere else, other than MMC of course.
