Have you tried any other types of brake pad Neil and Doug?

Steve.
I tried CL RC6 with the standard discs and ended up getting pad transfer so just went back to the Ferrodo 2500's. Haven't tried anything else since I changed the discs so might give the CL's another go at some point.

The last time I used CL5 pads, the pads came off of the backing plate. This was on my old Elise.

Does anyone know what kind of brake pads come with the Exige 410 and 430 along with their two part brake rotors?

I was using DS 1.11’s from the start and they were excellent, last a long time but far better than ds2500’s and no major dust issues. Cheaper than PF’s and CL’s.

I put the 2 piece front discs on after the standard ones wore out but was happy with the standard rears. Didn’t really think they needed upgrading. You can get replacement standard discs for the rear for £150 or less (same as the evora rear discs) and I have a brand new set if you want them Neil?

What's the current thinking on brakes? I put the Elise Shop bells & rotors on the front of mine with standard pads which seems to work well but they don't do them for the back. To get something that'll work front and back you end up at the likes of Alcons but the price is a bit eye watering.
I now know what you, Kinger, Craig Moncrieff and Kathy were up to. :damnfunny :thumbsup
