anyone use or have used MMC discs?
I've got really high pitched squeel coming from the front discs when i brake heavily.
Is this just the norm for these discs or do they need looked at?

Glazed pads? Give them a bit of rough love...

Stephen tried the old reverse-and-brake trick to see if it would free any stones or gravel - didn't do anything though.
I'll have a look at weekend - cheers

the noise as such isnt a problem, but be careful that there are no score marks on them due to the squeal

Take the pads out and give em a good coat of copper grease on the backs (not on the braking surface lol!!).
I have to do this about once a year to stop my mmc brakes squealing.
Front pads are easy to get out, rear pads are a bit of a pain.
