Lambda Sensor

Post by Clarkie » Mon Apr 06, 2020 6:37 pm

Exige was in at Craig’s for some work and he found that one of the lambda sensors wasn’t reading/no output. I was getting an engine light from time to time at Oulton. Only done 4700 miles!

Lotus will cover under warranty but have to wait until Parks are up and running.

From what I can find these sensors get cooked in the engine bay, anyone come across a way to protect them?

Can you wrap the cable and the external body in heat shield sleeve or tape?
