You will be more impressed with the performance than the looks. The first time that I half pressed on the brakes, I nearly put myself through the windscreen and when I jumped into Kathy’s Discovery Sport, I nearly drove straight through the first roundabout. :damnfunny

I have the 343mm big brake front and rear kit from Seriously Lotus along with the Pagid RS29 yellow endurance pad and I am really impressed by it all so far. Looking forward to seeing how they perform on track hopefully soon. I called Dave from SL after a few weeks of use to let him know how impressed I was with his product and he burst out laughing saying, “if you think that they are good now, wait until you get your car on track and get some heat into the pads and then you will be even more impressed”.

I will report back after the Anglesey, Oulton, Cadwell trip hopefully next month.

I didn’t buy them for the bling. It was just that my discs required replacing and I really fancied one of the upgraded sets to see how much better they were. They do look good though.

Steve.
I'd be interested to see how you get on Steve, I'll need disc replacement at the next set of pads and the Seriously Lotus options seem the the best.
Obviously your car had one piece discs before so full kit with the bigger 343mm (floating fronts) will be a big difference. Maybe the big rotors negate some of the weight saving? I assume you've gone 'all in' with the caliper spacers and big pads on the rear?
(I see the big discs allow running 'front' pads all round but not sure I need more rear brake bias on the 3-11...)

With bells already as standard on my car (including floating fronts) Dave also seems to have the various options covered:
1. Replacement 332mm rotors (including floating front kit)
2. Replacement 342mm rotors (including floating front kit) with optional caliper spaces for the full 'Stop like Steve' solution. ;)

I assume there will be more clearance on the 311 18/19" wheels than 17/18" on the Exige.

Then it's just PF08 vs RS29...
I've not seen any especially bad dust issues with PF08 but then I don't really clean the wheels. They were protected with a ceramic coating when new and they get a hose off at best.

Cheers,
Ali

Ali,

Yes, full big brake kit with the same front pad now used on the rear. You can have a drive of mine if you want.

Yes, powder coated the wheels in Black Gold Gloss from Customised Coatings, Newmacher. £216 for the tyres stripped, wheels treated, all refitted and balanced.

This is a clean wheel. Image
