Elise R (08) - Cluster Showing Fahrenheit instead of Celsius

HI all,
Been a while since I've posted, hope everyone is doing well !!
My motor (Elise R - 08), was off the road for about 6 months while it was getting a bunch of repairs (new radiator, fan, brake disks, tyres and some niggly issues etc).
Once I got it back eventually, the temperature gauge is now in Fahrenheit rather than the usual Celsius. Also, when I put the hand break on now, the dash actually shows the word "BREAK" in red rather than the usual hand break symbol.
Anyone know how this could have happened? And also, how it can be fixed?
I read somewhere that it could be an issue with the ECU resetting. I got my ECU upgraded (or reflashed) a number of years ago so that the cam kicks in at 5700 revs. I'm just a bit concerned that I might have lost this somehow if the ECU has been reset. Am I being worried for nothing here? Would this be possible considering the car was sitting around for 6 months?
