Remapping Service for VHPD Needed - Any Ideas?

Post by marcoos_1 » Sat Aug 12, 2023 8:49 pm

OK, so as the rebuild on the S1 Exige continues I have now got the engine fitted and its fired up fine. In the not-to-distant I will be needing to get the car remapped to make sure its not at risk of a blow-up or meltdown.

Can anyone recommend someone that has experience in these engines? I know both Ollie at Phoenix and Kenny Brown well.....so I can ask them......but I wasn't sure if it was somehting they offered (but I may be wrong).

My car is running an Emerald with a Scholar built engine.

Any advice or experience very much appreciated.

Mark.

Kenny doesn't.

I need mine done too. Let me know how you get on.

Ps just remembered that Kenny recommended a guy who specialises in K series in Dundee. I can't recall the details.

Get a base map from somebody on SELOC and upload if yourself first? If I ever get an emerald, I'd get Emerald themselves to setup it....!

Worth asking Sitech? not sure they do emerald though. I've heard they are pretty handy with various older stuff.

Been to Emerald a few times over the years, but my last remap was done by MAC motorsport in Dundee. For me, they did a decent job of the mapping process and saved a jont down south.
