Headlamp bracket

Post by macca16 » Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:38 pm

When replacing a headlamp bracket

I’m assuming getting rid of all the old tiger seal and reapplying to the clam is the best approach?
Only advantage I see in not taking it all off is the pre-made guide for alignment of the bracket.

Thoughts?

Hacked off much of it but left enough to get a fit easily in the same position

Do you have a pick up tool?

No, but easily sorted thankfully.

Nice to get another simple job under the belt. I’m sure they’ll be plenty more tricky ones.

Tidy job. Did you just do it with the wheel arch liner out?

Just bent it back and held in place with a stick against the brake disc. The fuse box screws have seen better days so I decided to leave that for another day.

Just replace them with some stainless ones.
