I would speak to Dastek at Dalgety Bay - is it an emerald they use for the TT - I seem to remember Dave & Karl being involved in that.shooomer wrote:Dan
Everything was great100 miles at Knockhill today with now problems.
The spultter has only happened on the way to yours and back yesterday. I need to speak to TT regarding belt tensioner etc anyway.
Is there anyone up here who map my car? Need new manifold by sounds of it too? What's the best?
Paul
They are easy enough to map if you understand the principles behind it. I have a spare ECU-PC cable for the emerald if you need one, as well as all the latest s/w etc., and I can lend you a laptop also if you happen not to have one (I have one dedicated to the task of ECU mappingshooomer wrote:yeah, it's an Emerald ECU. Can Dastek map them?
I would recommend the Piper 4-2-1. Reasonably priced and well made.shooomer wrote: Need new manifold by sounds of it too? What's the best?

Agreed. Just fitted the S2 variant to EGOR (though they are fun to fit, not!roadboy wrote: I would recommend the Piper 4-2-1. Reasonably priced and well made.

Doh, of course it does - seeing as how it replaces manifold and downpipe, and given that S2 downpipe and manifold fit the S1, it was bound to wasn't it ...roadboy wrote:Robin,
The S2 version fits the S1 so they could just fit that. I have fited a couple to S1s.

Mate, dont waste another weekend driving it down and up - I'll do it for you!shooomer wrote:I'd have just got you to fit one when it was down.
Hope you realise what you're letting yourself in for.Rag_It wrote:Mate, dont waste another weekend driving it down and up - I'll do it for you!shooomer wrote:I'd have just got you to fit one when it was down.

LOL. I didn't want to say anything ... having fitted the S2 variant of the same thing to my car while the cylinder head was removed, I can say it was awkwardroadboy wrote: Hope you realise what you're letting yourself in for.![]()
