Right.
Chosen a Hurricane Induction Kit for Christmas which arrived yesterday (thanks Lorin).
Now, I have been led to believe that fitting is straight forward, but I have 2 (novice) questions

:
1) does the left rear need to come off?
2) does the throttle position sensor need to be reset after fitting?
If I run into problems, is anyone around in the Edinburgh area next week able to help give things an eyeball and some fitting advice?
Thank you and merry Christmas to all

1) yes
2) no
It's piss easy to fit, like I said in another thread, just make sure the ducting isn't rubbing the fuel lines once it's fitted.

S1 or S2 I can't remember? S1 can certainly be done with the wheel on as long as you have a box of plasters handy...

You're a surgeon right? If you can't manipulate the Hurricane into place, god help any of your patients

Even with the wheel off, you need to be a bit of a Gynaecologist, but with a socket set of course

S2 105Nm all round.
S1 85Nm all round.
From memory, but 95% sure.
Cheers,

Right
Many thanks for the above and particularly to Robin and MacKeann for their help with the wheel nut torque.
I have a standard exhaust and, before today, no modifications.
Not initially that impressed with the hurricane when I started the car after fitting

- that was until I got to the end of the street and floored the throttle to get onto the main road.
SOUNDS AWESOME!!!
Now going around and revving at any opportunity like a kid with a new toy. Can recommend to others who are not sure about getting this.
Was easy to fit but a little fiddly. Si - how did you secure the fuel lines away from the pipe?
Best wishes for New Year

I bought a few cable ties and fixed the ducting to bar that the original airbox was fixed to so it's pulled away from the fuel lines. If I remember, I'll take a pic of it tomorrow.

Thanks Si
I take it you mean that your ducting is fixed onto the bar passing downwards to the rear subframe. In mine, the ducting passes under this bar and over the fuel lines through what is quite a tight gap.
It is not immediately obvious how fastening this more tightly to the bar would protect the fuel lines, because the gap and ducting are roughly the same width.
Also, there is a slight bend in the rubber attachment onto the throttle body because the angle of the airbox was too obtuse to meet the ducting coming under the downbar and past the header tank. I have it looking just as it did in the pictures, but was a little concerned by the slight kink in the rubber airbox-to-throttle body attachment. Any comments?
