do any of you amateur car stereo thieves know what keys fit an Alpine head unit? theres a few in halfrauds, but none say they would fit an alpine. didnt get a chance to speak to any of the sales assistants.
cant believe they are wanting 5 quid for them - feckers!
The model is alpine cda-9811r

I've had a couple of Alpine head units and both were removed by popping up the circular clips on each side (may be hidden by the small plastic surround that just pulls off.) This releases the head from the bracket thing that has the "fingers" that grip the hole in the dash.
Hope that sounds clear!
Tools required - 1 small flat screwdriver

sorry guys - I thought I had posted a reply yesterday - somehow it didnt save.
I got a u2u from ali about two prongs either side - i'll have a look tonight.
Didnt want to force it too much as its a mechanical tilt jobby.
Cheers
