Post by Tom » Sat Feb 10, 2007 2:33 am

these the puppies??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-H4-30-brigh ... dZViewItem

it says they're 55W. there's also some 100W jobs.

will the 100s fry the wiring?? and are the 55s bright enough without killing the battery?

just be careful of the wiring as the insulation will go brittle over time with the heat generated by the additional current.

was in halfords today. could only see H4 bulbs for about 12.99 each.

what sort of wattage can i realistically increase to with out drastically reducing the life of the wiring??

Do you have covered head lights? I remember there was some sort of issue when I upgraded the bulbs on mine.... potentially melting the light covers?

PIAA's new superbrights reviewed in Autoexpress this week. 55w but allegedly much better than regular versions, blueish light which may put some off. £45 a pair though!!!

You down to shaving tenths mate? Buy them because they look good, then empty your boot (or your bowels!) before you go on track :)
