disc removal?!

Anyone got any tips for the removal of the allen key bolt that holds the discs in place?! cheers Ed :D

center pop near the edge and try working it around sometimes the impact from the hammer blows hill help as will the extra levage with the centre pop being further out from centre

I use a small sharp chisel and a hammer. Works every time.

I used to do this for a living
36 seized counter sunk screws every ransomes gang mower bottom blade

hard work getting them out without the heads snapping or chewing off there is a nack

When starting afresh on this in future, an impact driver is probably tool of choice. Robin's worked a treat on the screws for the Golf discs recently.

When I done mine, I used an allen key to round it off, then hammered a torx bit in. Worked every time.

I copper slip my bolts, do not tighten them up with a 4' bar, and they unscrew fine..........

If your stuck, have a run over to mine. Had the same problem with Craigs VX220 discs...

Good selection of easy-outs, chissels, wierd size allen keys, grinders etc....
