I use a small sharp chisel and a hammer. Works every time.

When starting afresh on this in future, an impact driver is probably tool of choice. Robin's worked a treat on the screws for the Golf discs recently.

When I done mine, I used an allen key to round it off, then hammered a torx bit in. Worked every time.

If your stuck, have a run over to mine. Had the same problem with Craigs VX220 discs...
Good selection of easy-outs, chissels, wierd size allen keys, grinders etc....

Bring it on.... mk1's are better built than the new mass market jobbies, would be a pleasure...
