Remove tape???

Some how my Front reg plate has came off no idea how that happend. :wink: Anyway there is lots of tape on the front calm from where the plate was whats the best way to remove it?

Leave it on, looks more plausible when you get pulled for no front plate ;)

If its to remove it to re-stick, get a rag with some petrol on it and give it a rub - job done.

It will go all soft and with your nail you can scrape the remaining (now soft) glue off. Try it and you`ll see. But not if you plan on running with no plate cos as Si says you want to make it look like it just fell off.

Any 'solvent' should soften and remove the glue from the sticky pads.

WD40 is also worth a try.

I found the best thing for removing old duct tape residue (exceptionally stubborn after being on for months and the tape itself stonechipped off!) and residue from sponsor/TSE stickers etc was 'bug and tar remover'.

The stuff I had was from Halfords, maybe TurtleWax?
