Geary gear linkage kit

Post by campbell » Wed Apr 04, 2007 8:12 pm

Somewhere rattling around in my garage I have a Geary Gear Gear Geary Gear Linkage Kit, no doubt with Nylatron (tm) bushes etc ;-)

Anyway, my current linkage has been overhauled once already - by FBF - and is starting to get pretty sticky again. So I thought about trying to install the fresh one.

Any comments on how difficult, complicated, awkward or generally annoying this is to do? With the Spanner Sesh coming up at Obi Wan's this weekend, I am considering trying to book into the ramp and have a go!! Remember, I have limited spannering talent...

Thoughts sought please.

Ta

Easy enough, most tricky bit is getting the fiberglass firewall stuff out of your eyes later...

Cable end eyes are quite tight and mine needed squeezing in with a g-clamp IIRC. The rest is pretty straight forward.

Ta!

a) arrived too late at Lawrence's to get on the ramp to try this

b) the ramp was still full of a sad looking part-Se7en under dismantlement by Thinfourth and Obi Wan!

LOL!!

V kind of you. Wonder if this Tuesday has possibilities...Lawrence? Although there's no major rush.

Might also splash an oil change through the car as well. Promise I won't drip as much oil as last time Boss :-)
