GEO Settings

Post by hiscot » Wed Apr 11, 2007 8:18 am

I am using Leda Recomended settings (Also using leda with road springs )
castor std
fr camber -1 deg neg
toe in 1.5 mm

rear
r camber -2 deg neg
toe in 3mm per wheel
rear height 8mm up from front

however i find the car can be twitchy over 80 tuts but has great turn in
i am going for stiffer dampers ( dynamics ) @ 400/550 eibach springs
and was looking at Gordons track settings on here
110/120 height ( I will use 115/123 )
front toe 0.02 deg out
camber 1.5 ( i will use -1 for road + stiff dampers)
rear toe 0.3 deg in
camber 3 deg neg ( i will use -2 for road + stiff dampers)

any negatives to the above settings as the toe settings are very differant than what i am using
I have the rack plates on order so will be fitting them
the tyres will be
195/50/15
225/45/16
marangoni zeta lina ( have good reports about these and won a free set from the internet site )

any comments

toe out at the front will make it turn in more sharply.

If you found it twitchy before, adding toe out at the front will only accentuate this feeling. I think you will need to add a wee bit more toe in at the rear.

The extra camber may make it tramline a wee bit more too.

seems a reasonably good set up to me though.

are you keeping the castor the same?

yes keeping the same castor
agree with the more toe in at the rear as i have quite a bit of toe in at the moment and found the rear quite stable with the front pushing wide on the limmit at present settings
