Bodywork repairs (AFALC)

Post by Rich H » Fri Apr 13, 2007 8:12 pm

Evening all,

Anyone got any experience of repairing crash damage to sh!tty fords? The local cadets have a pair of (Brace of?) rubbish mondeos, one has a seized engine (Always good) and one has some minor ish crash damage.

The plan is to strip the siezed heap with the straight body for bits and then fix up the other. Would just swap the engines over but one is petrol and one is diseasal and I CBA with all the plumbing and elastic-trickery stuff.

I was going to use WMD but I don't know how to get in without stripping the whole flipping lot out. Is a slide hammer difficult to use?

There is no long term plan and my suggestion of Mondeo BBQ was gently declined, so WTF do you do with a straight ish Mondeo turbo diesel? Autotest beast would be amusing if silly....
