I was going to ask the exact same thing. Are the bulbs the same on an exige?! My dipped beam are truly awful!

Group buy anyone?! :?

Guys are the bulbs in the S2 all HID?
If they are then they should last for a long time it may be the unit design which causes bad light.

Nah, they're just projector lenses with flickering candles...

Still, better than the S1 which doesn't have the projector bit....

Just thinking, do I need to get the headlamp adjustment changed after fitting Nitrons? My S1 lights are worse than useless right now - I've tried uprating the bulbs to '50% brighter' Phillips jobbers but so far haven't seen any difference... :?

Theoretially yes. What are your ride heights (should be ~110mm front 120mm rear, +/- 10mm, as a standard Nitron setup) The car's normally set level (dependant on age 140mm all round or 160mm all round) With the rake usually set and the overall lower height, you may find the lights a bit too low...

Get em checked anyway - TBH, won't make too much difference.

Also, check the reflectors, are they rusty and the lens itself - stonechipped? Can't really tell from your avatar, but have you got light covers on it? They can get cloudy with stonechips or general wear - I had mine on velcro, so I could remove at night. (using past tense, as one is now lodged in a tyre wall at Cadwell ;) )

Thanks Shug
Ride heights are as per Gareth's S1 - I never messed with what felt like a good height in his...

You haven't still got your remaining headlamp cover have you? I just lost one of mine in the wind...
