wet day ... water evaporates onto windscreen (from radiator i guess) ... is this normal ?

It's fine.

Water runs down onto rad from bodywork, when pulling up at lights with hot rad fins, it vaporises and settles on the screen particularly as you move off slowly.

Try heat wrapping your exhaust, the back one steams up too after a good rain storm :lol:
