Indicator problem

Post by Chewitt13 » Tue May 08, 2007 3:05 pm

Hi guys

Does anyone know where i can get a driver side indicator light for my S2. The bottom clip has broken off so the indicator keeps coming out and bouncing about at high speed. I suppose i could butcher the current indicator with sealant etc, looking for ideas???

A common problem, ask Si, Phil, Kenny or Dezzy.

See here for a DIY fix.

I'd try pestering Lotus first, it's a manufacturing fault so they should really be replacing them FOC. I'm on my 4th now and all the ones that have broken have been the new 'better' design.

I got a replacement free of charge under warranty. A well known design flaw! If they won't replace it, I'd go for the DIY fix above. :thumbsup

Mine came loose after the recent clam off radiator change. Seemed it had been siliconed on before so that how it went back on. 8)

Interested in the chances of getting a new one FOC though

Hey, it's better than that now.

Sealant had been used to hold it in place previously - I've now glued the sealant where it had split - a temporary repair to a temporary repair.

Not sure how much longer it will hold, though.
