It seems to vary slightly from car to car and of course depends on the size of your torque wrench/breaker bar.

If you have an angle grinder just take off as much as you need to :) I think I cut mine down to about 12mm.

Yes - I hope to be at home tomorrow evening rather than out at Andy's (on the basis that we should be finished) - so give me a call on 07973 391 393 before you leave and I'll let you know where the socket is :-)

Cheers,
Robin

I'll not be home before 6 and should be in until 7.30 at least, so I'll pick up the socket tonight and have it at home during those hours - 5 Belgrave Place, Edinburgh, EH4 3AN.

See you then!

Excellent - how's your back after working in the wheel arch all day ;-)

Ta, you can drop it round at my place any time - just put it through the letter box if nobody is in:

My back is OK, cant say the same abot my mechanic mate who did most of the spannering, dark mutterings issued from the depth of the engine bay, although he did say he had worked on worse.

Hi Robin, I see from the posts you had a good weekend at Oulton.
I dropped the socket through your letter box yesterday, have you found it yet?

Thanks

Ah - I'm sure it's there if you dropped it off - not checked ;-)
