Jacking Points

Whats the best way to work under the Elise? I thought you could only jack on the sticker at each side or use a lift?

Spent Saturday jacking one side then the other to rest rear wheels on packs of chipboard flooring!

Can you use axle stands? Presume you have to lift front first and then the rear? With the engine in the middle thought it would be a no no to lift and support rear only on the cross member where the rear diffuser bolts in?

Changing oil tomorrow night so want to save a bit of work!

I lift one side and work under there, axle stands are fine as long as you are careful where you put them and protect the tub with wood.

can whup the diffuser off first (or with the car on the jack) and stick the stands under the subframe hard points.
