the off-side rear hub flange
My mother has an MGF.
Embarrassing if she wasn't a 57 year old woman but ideal since she is.
Anyway, it has just gone in for its first MOT and has failed because the off-side rear hub flange has gone. Arnold Clark are saying it will take 9 weeks for a new part.
Does anybody know whether the part is common to the K-Series elise and if it is whether I am likely to be able to get one from the usual suspects in less than 9 weeks.
Thanks as always.

Agree that they are crap but car was bought from them and is under warranty. Not concerned about them wanting to do it just don't want it to take ages.If it was Arnold Clark who did the MOT I would get a second opinion . A friend had issues with them when there was nothing wrong with her car.

get a second opinion a work mate had his done there they said the trailing arm bushes where away he got them replaced then they said that it was the wishbones at the front, there was nothing wrong with them they also quoted £1000 (a rear spring was broken too) to fix it!tenkfeet wrote:If it was Arnold Clark who did the MOT I would get a second opinion .
