Screw embedded in front tyre advice

Spotted a screw head embedded in the outer 25% of my front offside tyre last night, still on the flat treaded part of the tyre. Don't know how long it's been there! The tyre has not deflated at all.

Do this sound like it could be repairable and should I really be considering getting a tyre repaired for an Elise?

Any advice welcome - keen to avoid shelling out for 2 new tyres as they have quite a bit of tread left.

Craig,

If it's squarely in the tread and not too near the edge, a repair is usually possible I think. Our tyre repairs have most recently been done by Willie at CLCM in Sighthill, Edin, but that might not be very convenient for you!

Cheers Campbell, I'll try to pop over there and see if it's repairable - I'm working in Edinburgh on Friday anyway.

Willie done a top job last year for me after just 200miles on a newie. Had no problems for the life of tyre.

Nice one - hopefully it's not too close to the edge.
