HI Ed
You'd be doing well to have ruined them in 5k.
I did about 3 track days and 10k on my first set.
Pagids were performing pretty well yesterday, just kept taking the abuse

It was excellent, i reckon i learnt a hell of a lot. She definently knew her stuff. Lots of tips re the track, camber, braking points, dodgey curbs etc. Im sure these are things that fellow SEs could have taught me but i was good having an empty track. Not having to pay for makes up for that.
Had a wee look at the pads and it looks like there is loads left, but ill get some pagids on order just in case. Which pagids do you have andy? cheers ed

Great vid Ali...
Whats the wee square thing on your dash in the middle?
Ta for the pax ride...it has made me appreciate my own car so much. Murray and taxi driver who both damaged my baby left me disillusioned for a year re. owning my car....healing is complete
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Ed
I've got the 4.2's on mine. I think I posted prices on the Elise Deals section, but PM me if you can't find them

Cheers Andy, had a look in the deals section but couldnt find it. Ill have another look later.
Just a call from me brother. Hes well and truly hooked on track days.

He lay in bed last night unable to get to sleep cause he was thinking about lines and braking points with a twitchy foot!

He wants to be my second driver for all future days. Does anyone know how much it costs to add a second driver. Cheers Ed

It differs.
I believe the SIDC days let you have 2 drivers per car, dunno about HM (Mac can tell you, as he usually shares with Mandy)
Javelin give you two drivers too.

Knockhill themselves charge 40 quid fro 2nd drivers. Everyone else, like SIDC and dreadnought let you have a free 2nd driver.

Half whatever the full price is to add an another driver on HM days unless they have changed it, I think anyway.

was great fun on saturday
after finding out that i was looking at my speedo too much, i started to feel the car more - and check the revs.
much better! felt the car flowing, and was looking at my lines better.
i increased my speed a fair bit - coz had to brake for the chicane properly.
I didnt do this the first time - went in too fast and Andy will confirm I had a wee moment.
Caught it tho - phew!

Indeed Phil.....but suspected you merely did it to keep me entertained
Was the sweetest move you could have done to let me by

Andy,
I was editing video last night and I had the camera running when we had a chat early on in the pitlane. Reminded me of the wee slide I had around the outside of a car at Butchers...

I think you were behind?
I had K-serious in the car. Anyway, it made me chuckle.
Cheers,
Ali

That was a quality moment
We had a fair few good laps at the stage. Again, gutted the cam wasn't mounted!, or i would have had some sound footage.
Still, I'll have it primed for next weekend....here's hoping the weather doesn't stop play and become anti-socially cold
Might need to persuade you to take me out for a spin at EF. The car looked genial.
