To go on track, you'll need to enter the main arena, and the gate is just off the big car park outside. Once in, park up somewhere and sign on in the control tower to go on track, and then join one of the lanes for cars going out on track. We'll then run lane at a time in order to give everyone a fair shot of track time.

Park in the main area once you have had enough track time ;)

I'm sure we'll get quite a few Elises/Exiges etc on, enough to make a decent SE club stand.

I have a good clear movie of Tim Wilkinson and myself at Alford, but it is 37mb.

How would I host it?

Just to let everyone know that all the fencing was put up today, the PAs ready for Rob to wire it up, we've got trophies for the show and shine, and also some fantastic prizes from polished Bliss as well.

Tomorrow we just need to rig up the PA and extra speakers, brush the track clean a little bit, get some marshalls sorted and we're ready to go [:)]

The normal entrance to the track is currently waterlogged and drainage put in, so we don't quite have so much space as usual. Show and shine cars will be in a special area just to the left as you go through the gate, so they don't get affected by the dust on the cars driving past. The cars lining up in lanes for the track action will be at the far end of the arena, and will enter and exit the track on the same piece of road, before looping back and re-joining their queue again.

Quick request: If anyone has a proper stopwatch, could they please bring one along [:)]

Secondly, I've not had time to do any flyers/posters etc (it's just been mad at work this week!)- if someone could print off a few A4 sheets of paper to brighten up the entrance gate a bit to let them know they are at the right place, and donations are going to Santa Cruise it would be hugely appreciated.

The weather forecast is looking variable tomorrow. It loosk like we may catch the odd little shower, but on the whole it should be warm and cloudy.

Cheers

John
