meatball.. don't be daft i was the slowest person there! I think i overtook 2 people though in the entire afternoon so i am well chuffed.. although i think both of them had just crashed.. does that count? hee hee.

when's the next event i might find useful? I think SIDC in may is too long away and i'll forget everything i learned by then and be driving even more like a muppet all over again...

Cat

The next one at KH is on 29th March between 9 and 12.

Will be good to see you then.

Mass

ps, wet track on Exige is not bad at all.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Hey Guys,

What's next..? Looking forward to another trackday soon. :D

Hi, to all at KH on Sat, great to meet everyone, (although I only got round a few of the SE'rs, I hope to get round & say hi to more at the next trackday); Campbell, XCL, Catriona, Ed, Andy, sorry forgotten a few names...nice to meet you all. :thumbsup

I'll try and get round to begging a few pax laps next time too...Kenny, I hear you are a very experienced driver, and good to sit in with, hint, hint.. :D

GregR, do you think your car will be back on track soon..? The dink didn't look too bad on your car, but didn't know you had engine woes as well.. :?

BTW, any pics of my old Silver S1 elise on the track..? None in the gallery :(

Cheers,
Pete :thumbsup

Did Kenny tell you that himself.......shy boy that he is........hehe!
Only kidding......Kenny does seem to know what he is doing, but you can also see other peoples lines/breaking points online which may help......I think there is even some footage of you and your lines/breaking points........HTH

Cat, not all the events are as well run as Johns....sometimes the manners aren't that great.......try searching the other threads for peoples opinions.
If you are experienced they are fine.......

Cat,

There are many things you can do on road to prepare yourself for track driving.

Smooth but hard & fast use of the pedals, heel & toeing, anticipation and reading the road ahead etc.

Make sure there aren't many cars around you when you practice the braking or H&T though.

Hi Cat

you could plead with Scotty and see if you can buy his Donny spot from him as the 340r isn't ready.

LOT are running the day, very friendly and well organised. :thumbsup
