Big up Brunty!
Thanks for letting me on! Had a great time, some good laps with Brian.
Was great to put some more names to faces. Sorry we couldnt make the noodle bar. I promise ill make it there next time.
Hope everyone enjoyed their pax laps.
new pagids will be on order asap. Is it worth me swapping left and right fronts, left down to the wear indicator right still has 3mm, or should i change now and keep the right as a spare?
Neways til next time

If Big Up is the same as Top Effort then I agree, a very amusing night all in all. Thanks also Brunty for letting Ron on in the G60, he was delighted! Giving him a shot in my Liz may have helped also
Ed, I've actually got the same issue with mine! Not sure what to do either. PITA.
Rears are roasted after tonight, but reckon they may get a final swansong on the 21st before my Visa is bent over the desk

Do you mean the inner and outer pad on each side? Or the near side is worn and the off side has 3mm?
If it is the inner and outer pad of each side then I swap mine reguarly as it seems to be a design flaw with the AP calipers.
Cheers,
Brunty

My pads were the same when I changed them last week, unless you are changing over regularly I would just bin them. Probably better for you discs in the long run.

Big thanks Brunty for an excellent evening! Did loads of laps on a very quiet track. My first time at KH this year and I really liked the changes to the circuit. The new surface is nice and smooth and super grippy, the kerbs at the chicane give the car less of a battering, and the new faster entry to Duffas gets the thumbs up from me (although I am not at all convinced KH had the entry and apex cones in the right place

). The newly painted kerbs on the exit of Clarks seemed very slippy and gave me a couple of interesting moments with the rain showers later in the session. Overall great fun - look forward to the next one

Your not wrong about the slippiness of the kerbs! My word that corner was "interesting"!

Yes - thanks, Brunty - great debut for the Exige at KH - I too discovered that the kerbs at Clarks - which look such a nice matt finish - are lethal with a bit of rain!!
Good to meet up with the growing Exige contingent - and Jamie was right - the car comes alive on the circuit - on the road it can feel a bit pedestrian - compared to the 350Z which has huge mid-range torque - but wound up on track it's just fantastic.
Hope to back out on 21st too.

Great night Brunty. Thanks for letting me come in my Smart Roadster, hope I didn't get in the way too much! I was trying to work on my racing line and was getting a little better by the end of the evening.
Big thanks to the guy that gave me a ride in his Black Exige, an awesome experience! Super acceleation, there's a point where the valve timing changes? the engine note changes and bang it's push back into the seat time again

btw one of your front light housings looked a little steamy so it might be leaking if you haven't noticed?

David,
Let me add my thanks, a great evening. Weather best I've had at Knockhill for a few sessions too. The new surface is good in the dry. I agree on the kerbs, when the couple of showers did come they were definitely interesting...
Look forward to a future session.
