there isnt anything on LoT yet. there was another website setup that was password protected so only competitiors could see it. no idea how you could get get on it, but no doubt all the stuff will be transfered over to LOT when the time is right.

as it says in the thread you quoted. As we are building the series, we get to make the rules. its a series for us to enjoy, rather than to entertain crowds etc (although i'm sure it will) so its being designed to be fair, and cheap

Provisionally Esprit looks to be in - we'll see how matters and regs unfold.

Focussing on making her work in the meantime. 8) Unlikely to make first couple of events but 2007 looks on. :)

I've spoken to previous owner and his times at Mallory, Oulton, Hatch etc were 'sufficient' to be competitive in the 750MC Roadsports series so hope not to slow anyone up too much as they try to get past 6' 3" Esprit rear.. as a novy I'll just look to stay on the blacktop and not take out any fellow mbrs daily drivers.

This year I'm aiming to complete ards and get some tuition from 3 times SMRC champ Kev Adam.

'Lotus on Track' not 'Elise on Track' iirc..

Good. Glad about it mate - the way I read it at first, it was Elises (from an equalising performance perspective) so if there's gonna be variety, all the better.

mckeann wrote: the equalising performance rules are quite clever. hard to explain by writing, i really need to blether sh*t and wave my hands around to get the point accross  but put it this way, a standard car has as much chance to win as a S/C honda. the way this works should also eliminate a massive first corner pile up
That's got to be a good thing - should be great fun.

Och - just have to see Shug - I get all the points McKean makes so if it goes that way then no hard feelings on my part but as a LOT mbr it would be nice to be part of it. Depending on track and lack of familiarity I could be one of the slowest out there in one of the most powerful cars.. power isn't everything on many tracks and I know I'll give way a lot in nimbleness so it may be more equalised than folks appreciate. :?
