I used the dover-dunkerque ferry when I took the Elise to Le Mans a year or two ago and it was fine. Shame their rates from Rosyth are ridiculous....

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the heads up..I'm sitting on Emerald Beach, NSW Oz, under a huge moon with just a bit of plastic, a box of tricks and a beer...and was able to book that ferry in a couple of minutes...FFS..what a world.

Take care,

Frank

Andy, are you doing Le Mans, or missing it and going with Robin and Ape into the Mountains?

Doing Le Mans mate - havent been there before, so going to have a gander and get the Mule round another track :thumbsup

My track record with the gendarme in the Alps suggests I'd be better off on a track  :cheers

Also, its August, Europe and its mother (who will probably be getting pestered by Iddon & McApe  ) will be driving through the Alps

Not too bothered about Le Mans, prefer twisties, but love Passes, so would probably go with the boyos.

August?, tourists?, dick 'em no problem, and with McApe in formation, around the hairpins. Used to do that with Rob Earle on Stelvio 2002, great fun.

Great thing about being a disabled War Pensioner with one foot in the grave is, who gives a fcuk. Enjoy it whilst you still can.

Hi guys,

I might join the Ring posse. :thumbsup
probably will have to sleep in my car though if all hotels are fully booked. :blackeye

Reading your posts you're not traveling via NewCastle for the FF-trip. We'll catch up at the first hotel near Le Mans.
Looking forward seeing you guys again. :cheers
