SE at Kames 11th July

Post by woody » Fri May 29, 2009 12:13 pm

I know it's the week after 050709 and before LOT, but as there aren't many options, I've emailed Lesley to provisionally book this date for us.

Places are limited to 15 (plus reserves) and the day will cost £39 per person, plus EACC membership at £20 (allows you into all of the clubs other events; test days, grass tracking, sprints etc...) for those who haven't got it. Those who are not already members can go here: http://www.eastayrshirecc.co.uk/join and print off a membership form to fill out beforehand to save time on the day.

The day will start at 10 am and comprise of three 2.5 hour sessions of 5 cars. This should keep waiting to a minimum and allow those travelling a distance to get there on time. It works out as around 15 runs each. Please cut and paste the list below, adding your name under the relevant session to book your place.

Session 1: 10.00 - 12.30.
Names:

Session 2: 12.45 - 15.15.
Names:

Session 3: 15.30 - 1800.

Looks like we won't get the numbers for this day, so I'll have to cancel the booking.

Is there the demand this year for an SE day at Kames, perhaps around August or September? Was the session idea or cost an issue with the above day?

If there is the demand, but it'd be best kept at the format used in previous SE days, I'm willing to pull a day together for us.

i'd like to do an SE day, but August is FF8, the Elise is currently off the road - so would be looking like Sept for me i'm afraid.

11th of July clashes with our holiday but I'd be keen to take part in an SE day, particularly since my other commitments seem to clash with Test nights at Kames this year.

Dezzy and I are both up for a SE day at Kames, just can't make this date due to holidays. Te session idea might be worth a try, 2.5 hrs of track time and the rest for chatting :thumbsup Otherwise I think i might need to employ my cousins to move my car up the line

Don't think there's any problem with the format of the day mate - just the usual suspects have clashing dates.

Always the issue mid-summer.
