I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Took about 7 pax out.[/quote]

Most of whom were me and my extended family - many thanks Mass - after I spun out on my first lap on the "oil and grease", I was pretty worried, so thanks for the pax laps that got me back out there, albeit very gingerly and saved the day as a family outing. Sorry to hear about those who had problems on the way. Jen, Mass isn't exaggerating, it was wet throughout but wet and oily to start with, my own (daughter) Jen was signed on to drive until she did a lap with her Dad and found herself facing the wrong way at the hairpin.

Yes - the public roads seemed unusually slippy on the way up to KH - couple of surprising moments en route So can sympathise with Deany. But nothing compared to the track when we got there - the previous session must have dropped oil and dragged it all round the circuit - liKe a skid pan all the way round - so good training for throttle control until the rain washed it out. People (not me :D ) had plenty of low speed offs as a result but nothing serious.

That really should not happen Jen, especially after a complete re-build. Never heard of a ball joint going like that, especially with hardly any miles on the clock and nil trackdays.

Any indications as to what caused it?

Thanks to Andy C (and Jamie) and Chris G for the moral support.
It was my pleasure to have my Macdonalds and watch
A guys gotta eat! Glad it's not as bad as first thought. Fingers crossed the paint shop are not too expensive.
Jamie enjoyed himself even though he never made it to KH....it was not how I hoped he would meet the orange beastie

Starting to think our cars are not meant to get to KH at the same time :?

After owning the car for 3 and a half years, this is the first time ever, for something to happen and with Alan being a mechanic to trade, over time, we just feel it is not beneficial for us.

Great day at KH. As said before was an ice rink for first 30 min or so which gave me plenty opertunity for some drifting action at hairpin and clarks especially. Even accelerating up the straight the wheels were spinning!

Thanks for the pax laps Mass, shame about the 360 deg spin we had at the hairpin  suppose you had an advantage over the rest of us with your road tyres on, you should've tried it with the Yoko AO48's

Thanks also has to go out to Pete for causing a red flag during the session. Someone forgot to put their helmet on before going on track!!!!! :damnfunny

All in a great day, just a shame about the weather but we should be used to it by now.

Thanks to all who braved the elements yesterday and supported this event. Sorry to hear of the problems for those on their way. We are planning to do another one in the spring when hopefully the sun might shine.
All the best.

Thanks to Graham for agood night , despite the ice rink as mention before.
As to the  incident , hasnt happened in the last six years ,can only give the excuse that having gone from elise (no roof on) to exige just felt cocooned with the roof on . :)
Anyway was a good night ,enjoying the exige and thanks to Nig for declaring my lapsed moment . :D
