Hi everyone,

Thanks for a great day John. I wasn't particularly held up even though it was the busiest trackday i've ever experienced . Also I just concentrated on having fun and practicing keeping speed up through the corners. My car doesn't have great straight line speed and always have to let fast cars through on the straights and then get stuck behind on the corners. I've learned to accept that most of the other cars will pass me like i'm standing still (until my supercharger hopefully gets fitted ;-p) and to save getting good lap times for competition events.

Anyway I hope that I didn't hold anyone up as I really try to get out of the way as quick and safely as possible although I didn't appreciate some of the maneouvers people did around me while I was maybe holding them up as I was overtaking before or after clarks. I often think that people can forget that although some cars might be slower on the straights, they might be much quicker and confident through the corners where, lets face it, all the fun should be had!

I think that was one of the best trackdays I have ever had and thanks for puting up lots of photos. Also hope that the cars who came off are okay

Cheers,
Muzzaa

Thanks again to John/SIDC for another very well run event, and usual excellent photos by JohnS.

I had some tyre issues which kept me of the track for an hour and a half or so after wearing through a slick early in the session :( Eventually got out again on road tyres, then on an old set well worn R888s. Still had much fun exploring the differences between tyres, though my driving was a bit ragged finding out ! Was good to see a good turn out with a good variety of cars. With the good turn out the track was quite busy, but very well mannered and I didnt see any real problems though a shame about the red flag stopping the session 10 mins early.

Looking forward to the next one.
