Donny and Anglesey in June

Post by Mikie711 » Mon Jan 17, 2011 10:24 pm

Donington Park Thursday 16 June folowed by Anglesey GP Saturday 18 June both with BookaTrack. 2 circuits over 3 days make the journey worth while. Anyone else fancy a mid-summer Englandshire trip.

Anglesey sounds very interesting. I'm sure McKean spoke quite complimentarily about the place, and if so, it must be worth a look for a dabbler like me.

Already done Donny and whilst I enjoyed it, I have to be ruthlessly selective.

Can't commit right now but will watch progress with keen interest. Where is good to stay around Anglesey? Worth just camping maybe?

I would have loved to do this but away on a wedding working

Have they changed the layout of Donny? Its one of my favourite circuits

I did notice they have a day at Knockhill in August, and at the mo I am free so might get that one booked up!

Have fun

Cheers

Stayed here last year at Peskys recommendation. :thumbsup

Anglesey GP is good but I hear Coastal is better...run up to the hairpin and back only good for the big power boys, reckon Coastal would have more flow.

Coastal is the layout to go for. GP ok if you have lots of power, but as Ali said, the corkscrew on the coastal layout has a much nicer flow to it.

I stayed in a decent b&b near the circuit, will dig it out when i get home at the weekend. Loads of room to camp if your that way inclined.

BaT organise those events too and they always seem to be well run.
