Are you sure?! Belgian golf courses...do such things exist?!
The atmosphere at and around the Ring remains excellent, IMHO. It's a scenically beautiful area, has some nice roads to and from, and of course some classic German eateries. I did a detour there with the SE mob in November even though I wasn't taking the car on the circuit, and have no regrets and nothing but happy (and in some cases hysterically funny) memories of the escapade

A 25 lap ticket is €470, so a trackday is not bad value. Also, you don't have to leave the track ever lap to swipe.

Dom (of dutch fame)
Any idea if those trackdays boys that did the one in NOv last year will be doing the same again this year?
Would love to actually make the second half of the day this time
Great day, well run, and now makes really good sense.
The ring is a bizarre place, but like the CES show in Las Vegas, I'm almost as happy to leave with everything in one bit, as I am to get there

RSR (and i think the rest of the other car hire companies) are now banned from the ring.
This will also stop the ring hire days. they have taken everything in house.
I can ask Dale (ex RSR) who used to run the days whats going on.

I've send DF an e-mail with the question, I'll post the respond when they get back to me.
Last year was a succes according them and was defenately on the agenda for 2011.
But things might have changed with the ring organization as Scott say.

I've been busy with it since November 2011, but so far no success. It seems like we aren't going to get a date for a track day this year. : (
But that is just a small setback, of course joining another organizer still can, especially if there also normal people ride, but it should still all be sorted, so in anyway it won't be in a short term.

Last year's DF trackday was combined with a Belgium organization. There's still a chance, I will post on SE as soon as a date will be released.
