Spa 18th April

Just booked Spa with Javelin for 18th April. Javelin unusual choice (I think this will be their first Spa TD) but date fits better than BaT or LoT for me. I've been on Javelin TDs at Cadwell a couple of times and they have been fine so should be OK hopefully.
Going to take the Hull-Zeebrugge, will have a whole Sunday to kill so I think I might wander done to the Nordschliefe - its a touristfahrten day on 17th I believe so might have a go if I feel brave enough to venture into the inevitable carnage.

Not sure about SIDC yet. Certainly want to get in a KH evening or half day before I head overseas to shake down me and car after winter though. Will keep an eye on long range weather forecast and check my list of weekend chores and maybe make a decision in a couple of weeks.....
Plan is to do a few long range track days this year, Anglesey, Oulton, Cadwell and Donny and not do 2 hr sessions at KH

Shame there's not a Spa day around May time. April is a bit soon for me - well for my friend building his 7.

Spa was stunning. Perfect weather, decent bunch there with Javelin and "Jaco's Paddock" (a German TDO) and nice variety of cars. 2-Eleven likes the place although need a bit more grunt for Kemmel Straight (GT3 RS would be nice). Eau Rouge exciting, will need to ditch my imagination to get the most out of car through there though. Favourite was Pouhon, for some reason I prefer LH corners (not ideal at KH but I would be good at NASCAR), lots of run off and huge grip available.
Thoroughly recommend Spa to anyone who has not been. Also recommend staying at the Beausite Hotel in Hokai, good value, plenty trailer parking and about 20mins from track. I will certainly be back although need to check out more efficient travel routes. Best part of 5 days that took, but worth it.
