Craig has said if anyone else is going to need anything done to their cars on Thursday morning, can they let him know asap as it's starting to get busy.
Priceless. They'll be queueing round the block at Sighthill at this rate :damnfunny

Craig, you'd be better chartering a Lotus artic and sending one of the techs round behind them all - even at mate's rates it'd have to be worth it for the laughs and pics if nowt else!

I've just checked my diary and I might look in for a laugh.

We're planning on passing through on the way back. The only problem is that I would appear to have forgotten to pay the court expenses that they subsequently sent me on top of my 600 euro on-the-spot fine a couple of years ago. oops.

From memory, border stops are pretty rare but there will be 3 cars which might increase the chances.

Any thoughts?
On our Stelvio trip last year september, we've passed the Swiss border at the Austria and Italie side. Our passports were checked at the Italian border. Also seen Swiss cops showing great interrest in our cars (mainly Speedsters and a few Elises / Exiges, 15 in total). Foreign plates didn't seem to invite them to check us out.

I've just been in contact with Paul Golding,

If you haven't already done so could you email him with whether or not you need the Saturday night hotel option.

Also - I've had an all-alu Motorsports radiator fitted to my Exige. ( Thanks Craig :thumbsup ) Nothing wrong with the old one, just a precaution since the clam was off to fit a new windscreen. It's available as a group spare if anyone with a trailer wants to take it - it's currently at Murrays so could be picked up from there or I could deliver it if necessary. It would appear to fit all the Toyota engined S2s but not the k-series(?). I'll check with Craig if there's any interest.

... and a reminder that if anyone else still fancies going, Mass's place is up for grabs.

Kevin.

Sorry guys for not being online much,

Did anybody find out about if suction mounts are going to be allowed?

Can't bloody wait for all this prep to be done and be at Zandvoort. :D

is there anybody else leaving Glasgow (ish) for Newcastle tomorrow? I will be heading down the M74/A69

off to buy gas soldering iron to see if I can fix my VSS/converter issue or wire in new converter.

I spoke with Mr Gordon the other night, and whilst he is not Mr Goulding, he said there shouldn't be a problem with mounts for GoPro's and the like....

Which reminds me, i need SD cards!
