Just back from work - need to find some clothes to pack - not that I have any clothes ... well none that are not covered in engine oil :-)

Cheers,

George,

Pete039 and myself are travelling over on Sunday too - but on the 08:54 chunnel.
We're planning to meet Frank / Cisco just outside Calais at the Aire de Zutkerque if you're interested in hanging around - or want to meet up somewhere later and travel in convoy.

I'll PM you my mobile number.

Your new grey fleece is still in pretty good shape!

Now be careful mister, I will be needing your consultancy this winter so don't go breaking anything.

And best wishes to everyone else too, let's have a well organised thread writeup please, with pics if at all poss. If in any doubt as to whether safe to post them to the forum, just do it, the mods will sort it all out later :thumbsup

Oh, and somebody with good org skills please pay attention to how it all hangs together. I am expecting a future version to be devised by SE after Paul has thrown in the towel, perhaps to be known as The Tour de Haggis, which hopefully gives me a cat in h£ll's chance of getting on one of them one of these days :-)

Bon chance, tout le monde.

No posts from the trip ... what happens on Frolic stays on Frolic - sorry.

Cheers,
Robin

P.S. New fleece (£8 from TK max I'm told by Mrs Iddon) is now covered in oil.

P.P.S. Forecast for ZV is light cloud, 18C, dry. All people on aggressive geo should be looking for first set of new tyres by 4pm :-)

We'll still hear the best (broadcastable) bits and willy-waving stuff I'm sure. And the on-tour mentality never stopped the publishing of some great pics. That'll do, if need be.

Whatever, have fun. Nothing much will change here while you are all away. There might be the odd riot, an oil pipe leak, and some debt crisis or other ... and that's just the August Bank Hol weekend. But nothing else of note, LOL!

Stu, if you are going in at 5am to cut my disks, forget it! Get yourself away man.
